標記、厚生労働省から、令和４年１月29日午前０時より、以下水際対策強化に係る新たな措置（26）に基づき、オミクロン株が支配的となっている国・地域（現時点では全ての国・地域）から帰国・入国する全ての方について、入国後の自宅等待機、健康フォローアップ、公共交通機関不使用の期間が10日間から７日間に変更するとの通知がありました。既に入国済みの方に対しても同時刻から適用されます。
※空港検疫で陽性となった方が、ゲノム解析の結果、オミクロン株以外（デルタ株等）の陽性者と判明した場合、機内濃厚接触者の方は、濃厚接触者としての待機期間が14日間になることがあります。

ご承知の通り、オミクロン株の世界的広がりを受け、日本では、緊急避難・予防措置として、次のような措置を厳格に講じています。
・外国人の新規入国は、全世界を対象に停止
・日本人等は戻ることができますが、日本国の指定する国・地域から来られる方に対しては、宿泊施設での待機 ※
現在、このような厳格な措置により、到着空港において検疫等の手続に時間を要しています。このため、宿泊施設へご案内するまで時間を要するおそれもあります。
※ 指定国・地域のリスクに応じて、３日、６日又は10日間となります。
宿泊施設退所後は、入国後７日間（措置（26）に基づく指定国・地域は14日間）自宅などで待機となります。
この宿泊施設は、検疫所が確保します。
※オミクロン株陽性者（疑われる場合を含む）の濃厚接触者であることが判明した場合は、保健所等から自治体の確保する宿泊施設で待機を求める場合があります。
※空港検疫や検疫所の宿泊施設で実施する検査で陽性が判明した場合は、医療機関への入院や宿泊療養施設での療養を行っていただきます。オミクロン株陽性者である場合、ワクチン接種の有無によって入院や療養の期間が変わることがあるため、ワクチンを接種している方は、ワクチン接種証明書を持参して入国いただくようお願いします。

For those who are returning to Japan or entering Japan from abroad
As you are aware, in response to the global spread of the Omicron variant, Japan has taken the following strict measures as emergency and precautionary measures.
・New entry of foreign nationals from all over the world is suspended
・Japanese nationals and other residents in Japan may return, but those from countries and regions designated by the Japanese government will be required to stay in accommodations※
Currently, due to these strict measures, it takes time to complete quarantine and other
procedures at arrival airports. For this reason, it may take some time before we can guide
you to your accommodations.
※The length of stay will be 3, 6, or 10 days, depending on the risk in the designated countries and regions.
After leaving the accommodation, you will be required to stay at home until the ７th day（Instead of ７days, “14days” will apply if you are entering Japan from countries or regions stated by “the new measure (26) regarding boarder control”） after entering Japan.
This accommodation will be secured by the quarantine office.
